Leonard Ojha’s journey to developing The Alexander into a leading Muskoka retirement community is a testament to his passion for healthcare and his commitment to creating meaningful spaces for seniors. His career began as a registered nurse, where he worked in a hospital setting within various specialities from rehab, neuro-trauma, hemodialysis and intensive care. He then transitioned to managing a large ambulatory care program at St. Michael’s hospital. Leonard then completed his Executive Masters in Business from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Using his knowledge in healthcare and business, he has created one of the best (if not the best!) retirement homes in Muskoka.
Marie Ojha NP-Adult, BScN, MN

Marie Ojha is a healthcare professional with over 25 years of experience as a registered nurse, with half that time spent as a nurse practitioner. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Toronto. She started in the hospital setting and in the last few years transitioned to homecare, focusing on palliative care and geriatrics. As a nurse practitioner, she can diagnose, prescribe, prognose, and help individuals and families understand their illness trajectory and stage of life. Marie's commitment to healthcare remains unwavering, and her experience has perfectly positioned her as the Nurse Practitioner at The Alexander.
